Alimatou Bah, MS 

Research Associate

Alimatou Bah is a dedicated Research Associate at Lime Therapeutics. Before joining Lime Therapeutics, she gained extensive research experience in Dr. Ira Goldberg’s endocrinology and Dr. Ana Rodriguez’s microbiology labs at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where her master’s thesis explored the role of anti-phosphatidylserine antibodies in the phagocytic clearance of rifampicin-treated red blood cells. During her master’s program at NYU, Alimatou demonstrated a passion for education as a Teaching Adjunct and Lab Instructor.

 

Alimatou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from Minnesota State University, Mankato. As a student leader, she served as CSET Senator in Student Government and Vice President of Black Motivated Women. Her commitment to diversity and inclusion earned her multiple awards from the university’s institutional diversity center for her impactful work with the Women’s Center, Student Government, undergraduate representative for the President’s Commission on the Status of Women, and other leadership initiatives.
